Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GEOSTRAT website, blog and monitoring console (the “Service”) at geostrat.cc, operated by GEOSTRAT (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your passphrase confidential, and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate details and keep them up to date. One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts to abuse access or trials.

2. The Service

GEOSTRAT is an informational geopolitical-intelligence and situational-awareness product. It aggregates and visualises public and third-party data. It is provided for general awareness and research only.

3. No operational reliance — important

The Service and all data, maps, alerts, briefs and AI-generated summaries within it are indicative and provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. They may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable. You must not rely on the Service for operational, navigational, safety-of-life, emergency, legal, financial, trading or investment decisions. Always verify critical information against authoritative primary sources. AI-generated content may contain errors and does not constitute professional advice.

4. Access, subscriptions, codes & refunds

Some features require a subscription or a redeem/access code. Trials and paid access are offered on the terms shown at sign-up. We may change features, plans or pricing; we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes. Redeem/access codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

All fees are non-refundable. Access to GEOSTRAT is sold as a time-limited subscription. Except where a refund is strictly required by mandatory law, we do not provide refunds of any kind — including for unused time, partial subscription periods, accidental or duplicate purchases, change of mind, or dissatisfaction with the Service.

Service interruptions. The Service is provided “as available” and may be unavailable, delayed, degraded or incomplete from time to time (see section 3). We do not issue refunds for interruptions or reduced data quality. Where the Service suffers a prolonged, verified outage, our sole remedy — at our discretion — is to add an equivalent amount of time to your subscription, so you are not charged for time you could not use. No monetary compensation is provided.

Cancellation. You may stop using the Service or let your subscription lapse at any time. Cancelling ends future access at the close of the current paid period and does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully or to harm others; scrape, harvest, resell, redistribute or create a competing product from the Service or its data; reverse-engineer, disrupt or overload the Service or attempt to bypass its security, gating or rate limits; share your account credentials; or misrepresent the Service’s output as verified fact.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, code, compilations and original content are owned by GEOSTRAT and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. Third-party data displayed in the Service remains the property of its respective sources and is subject to their terms.

7. Third-party data & links

The Service relies on independent third-party sources and may link to external sites. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, content or practices of those sources or sites.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement and uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GEOSTRAT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold GEOSTRAT harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
